Materials & quality
Every piece is made to order for her, from materials chosen to be worn every day. Here's what her jewelry is made of, how it's made, and how to keep it beautiful.
What it's made of
Stainless steel
Our necklaces and bracelets are made from high quality stainless steel - strong, tarnish-resistant and made to be worn every day. Our engraved pieces are 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, and our crown pendant is .925 sterling silver. If she has a metal allergy, check the materials on the product page before you order.
Gold finishes
Our gold pieces have an 18k gold finish - a fine layer of plating (0.5 to 2.5 microns) over the stainless steel. It gives the look of gold at a gift-friendly price. It isn't solid gold, so a little care keeps it bright for longer. Some pieces come in a 14k white gold finish or a rose gold finish - the product page always says which.
Stones
Sparkling stones are cubic zirconia or crystal, unless the product says otherwise.
Made to order, shipped from the USA
Made after you order
Nothing is made in advance and nothing sits on a shelf. Your piece is made for her by our production partners after you order - message card pieces in 3-5 business days and engraved pieces in 2-4 (Monday to Friday) - then shipped from the USA. Busy seasons can take a little longer.
Less waste
Because we only make what's ordered, there's no unsold stock to throw away.
Shipped from the USA
Every order ships with tracking, so you can follow it all the way to her door.
The card and the box
The keepsake card
Our message card pieces arrive on a card printed with a Dear Daughter message, so the words stay with the gift. Engraved pieces carry the words on the piece itself.
Gift-boxed
Message card jewelry comes in a standard gift box or a mahogany luxury box with an LED spotlight. Engraved pieces arrive in a white gift box. Every piece is ready to give - or sent straight to her door.
Keeping it beautiful
Every day
Put perfume and lotion on before her jewelry, and take it off before bathing, swimming or exercise.
If it gets wet
Pat it dry with a soft, lint-free cloth, then let it air-dry on a towel.
Cleaning and storing
Clean gently with a soft jewelry cloth (a soft toothbrush helps with chains and engraving). Store each piece dry and separately, in its box, so chains don't tangle or scratch.
See Our Promise if anything arrives damaged.
