How to Care for Her Jewelry (and Her Keepsake Card)

1. Message card necklaces

Many are set with sparkling cubic zirconia. The crown pendant is .925 sterling silver with a 14k rose gold finish.

• Clean: wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth. For a deeper clean, use a drop of mild soap in lukewarm water and a very soft brush around the stones, then pat dry and let it air-dry completely.
• Avoid: jewelry dips, toothpaste, baking soda and silver polishing cloths - they can wear away the finish.
• Protect the stones: take it off before anything where the pendant could knock against something hard.
• Adjustable chains: fasten the clasp at the length she likes and keep it fastened in storage so the chain doesn't tangle.

2. Engraved necklaces

Our engraved necklaces - the hidden message heart and circle, the secret message bar, the break apart heart, the heart and cross bar pendants - are laser engraved in 316L stainless steel, so the words won't fade or rub off. The steel is tarnish-resistant, but a gold or rose gold finish still lasts longest when it stays dry.

• Hidden message heart: open the two halves gently with your fingertips and close them the same way. Never force them further than they want to go.
• Secret message bar: slide the inner bar straight out and straight back in - don't twist it while it's open.
• Break apart heart: each half is its own necklace. Line the wavy edges up gently to join them, and store each half on its own so the edges don't scratch.
• Clean: a soft cloth, or mild soap and water, then dry completely - especially inside the heart and the bar.

3. Engraved bracelets

• Cuffs: open and close the cuff gently from the middle, not the ends, so it keeps its shape.
• Chain and bar bracelets: slide the adjuster gently and fasten before storing so the chain doesn't knot.
• Natural stone bracelets: roll them on and off rather than stretching the cord, and keep them away from water, perfume and lotion - natural stones can mark. Wipe the stones and bar with a soft, dry cloth.

4. The Love You Forever bracelet

The bracelet is braided vegan leather with stainless steel beads and a magnetic clasp engraved "love you forever".

• Keep the braid dry: take it off before washing hands, showering or swimming. If it gets wet, pat it dry and let it air-dry flat.
• Clean: wipe the braid and beads with a soft, dry cloth. Don't soak it.
• The clasp: pull the two ends straight apart rather than twisting, and keep it away from phones and bank cards, as with any magnet.
